Red Tape Challenge update

The Government’s ‘Red Tape Challenge’ is continuing to work its way through a series of categories of regulation, giving businesses opportunity to highlight where regulations should be changed or removed. Categories currently up for debate are:

  • Company and Commercial law, including workings of companies and partnerships, accounts and returns, business names and disclosing information.
  • Housing and Construction, including building regulations, construction regulations and issues specifically related to the private rented sector or social housing.
  • Regulatory issues holding back new disruptive business models.
  • General regulations applying across all sectors, including health and safety, environment, equalities, pensions and employment law.

Follow the links above to comment on any of these areas. The Red Tape Challenge home page is here.
